Built-in cupboards and storage
Built-in bedroom cupboards, walk-in dressing rooms, linen cupboards, study units, entertainment centres and garage storage are our most requested carpentry items. We measure on site, allow for out-of-square walls and uneven floors as they actually are rather than as the plan says, and build carcasses in melamine or board finishes with edging on all exposed edges. Doors are hung on quality hinges with soft-close where specified, drawers run on proper runners rated for the load, and hanging rails are sized so they do not sag under a full wardrobe. Kitchens
Kitchen carpentry combines cabinetry with services coordination, which is where most kitchen projects go wrong. We build with treated pine or hardwood on properly founded substructures with adequate ventilation beneath, correct spacing for drainage and movement, and stainless or hot-dip galvanised fixings that will not stain the timber. Every outdoor timber element is sealed with a UV-resistant product and we set out a realistic maintenance expectation, because outdoor timber in Gauteng needs re-sealing periodically and pretending otherwise does clients no favours.
Repairs and structural timber
