Question 1

Do I need plans for my renovation?

Accepted Answer

Cosmetic work does not require plans. Structural changes, extensions and changes to the building footprint usually do. We advise during the initial assessment and coordinate the process.

Question 2

Can I stay in the house during the renovation?

Accepted Answer

For single-room renovations, generally yes. For extensive work we discuss phasing so at least a bathroom and kitchen remain usable.

Question 3

How are payments structured?

Accepted Answer

Payments are milestone-based and set out clearly in your quotation. We do not ask for the full amount upfront.

Question 4

What if extra work is discovered?

Accepted Answer

We stop, explain the issue, quote the variation in writing and proceed only once you approve it.

Question 5

Do you handle commercial fit-outs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, including offices, retail and restaurants, with after-hours work where trading must continue.
